This was a great opportunity to set ego aside and learn to acknowledge each other as humans before workers. We all have different energy cycles and gifts. I think the most powerful part was learning what things my team could take on and fully own. It’s been so cool to see the freedom and peace that has brought them. 

It’s always so hard for a band to capture who they are and what their music represents in their bio, social posts, album art, show flyers—any media that will be consumed by fans and the music industry. When Jackie approached us about doing our website (we didn’t have one), she perfectly captured our vibe with little direction and with her own vision. Along the way she helped answer any question we had (about the site, and life in general). She is genuine, humble, and creative.

Jackie instinctively brings with her the kind of energy you didn’t even know you needed. Part copywriter, part user insights manager, she questioned things that needed questioning, leading our team to insightful conversations which we could translate into effective action. I would highly recommend Jackie for any early-stage startup where she can apply her “creative insights” knowledge and DIY attitude cross-product. PS If you’ve never heard of Human Design, you certainly will after Jackie comes aboard!
